Sam is an independent Art Director and Designer based in San Diego, California. He is currently the Design Director at Nécessaire and previously worked as a designer at Actual Source. In 2016, Sam published the first volume of World Series, a collaborative photography publication now in its fourth issue. His work is part of the Special Collections Library at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, and the Haas Arts Library at Yale University. He holds an MFA from the Yale School of Art.

Recent clients and collaborators include Nécessaire, SISTER, A24, Nike, the Yale School of Architecture, the Taubman School of Architecture, Dance Arts Theatre Utah, Ratking, Untitled MFG, Kroy, Spencer Zahn, Design MW, and the Yale University Art Gallery.
